“My husband, our 4 month old and I hired Martha for 2 weeks and went to Skye. We wild camped 4 nights and stayed in campsites the rest of the time. We had the best time. It was ideal for being able to go on a walk etc and then have a brew in the car park whilst feeding/changing a baby, rather than having to drive to the nearest cafe or back home. We were limited to short walks with our baby but the camper was fab as we could change location every few days and always do a different short walk. The camper was spotless, hand overs great and information regarding the trip plentiful. We found the wild camping spots on the scottish motorhome wild campers facebook really useful, especially the overlay map on google maps. Loved that we could get a tesco shop ready in the van for arrival :) Would recommend and would go again!

“This was our first time in a motorhome and we were travelling the NC500 and Skye for 17 days. Charlotte put us at our ease with a very informative and friendly handover. The home was immaculate and extremely comfortable with a fixed bed. There was an extensive inventory of items for kitchen use, right down to including a pizza cutter. Charlotte was always available as we needed a reminder on how to work something. You are able to leave your car on their premises whilst away which is very safe. There was absolutely no problem with the vehicle and it did become our home for our wonderful holiday. We even managed to sit out on a couple of evenings as the weather was so warm and outside chairs and table are also included. We would have no hesitation in using GoCumbria again especially as we are already thinking about going next year as there is so much to see on the NC500 and 2 weeks is just not enough time to do it all.”Liz S.

It is a great way to see remote parts of the country. “Second year running we have hired a motorhome from Go Cumbria and once again had an excellent trip, we were more experienced with the workings of the motorhome this time around and didn't need to call Charlotte for advice. Headed across Northumbria and travelled down through Yorkshire and Lincolnshire then looped our way back up over 7 days, scenery is not a patch on Scotland but we still enjoyed our trip nevertheless.
